01 — CONNECT BEFORE ARRIVALTDYSPY

LESS GUESSWORK.
MORE CONNECTION.

You don’t have to figure
everything out alone.

From arrival-day questions to useful local knowledge, your classmates can be a great place to start. TDY Spy gives those conversations a shared home.

A simple way to get connected

Before you pack,
find your people.

01 /

Make an introduction

Create an account with your personal email and add your military email for verification.

02 /

Find your class

Use your class identifier, course details, location, and start date to connect with the right group.

03 /

Start the conversation

Ask questions in class chat, exchange ideas in course discussions, and share useful resources.

Built around shared experience

A shared starting point.
For the journey ahead.

Military email verification and matching class details help members find their community. Class details are not official enrollment verification.

Keep conversations practical. Don’t share orders, sensitive personal information, or operational details. Always confirm official requirements with your training organization.

A few things to know

Before you join.

What is TDY Spy?

TDY Spy is an independent community app for military members preparing for temporary duty. It helps classmates connect, ask questions, and share practical resources before arrival.

How do I find my class?

Sign in, browse or search for your class, and enter the matching course number, training location, and start date to join. If your class is not listed, you can create it using your class details.

Why do I need a military email?

Your personal email is used for sign-in. A separate military email receives a verification code. An accepted verification email starts a one-time 72-hour grace period; failed or bounced delivery blocks community access until corrected.

Are class conversations public?

Class chat, rosters, and resources require class membership, with administrator access for resource management. Course discussions can be shared across classes in the same course.

Is this an official military service?

No. TDY Spy is an independent platform. Community advice does not replace instructions from your unit or training organization.
